There's a madness or unexpected-ness in a theatre that does not intend to make you either laugh or cry or whoop or dance. What kind of 'entertainment' does that bring? Maybe the kind that one gets when one suddenly chances upon something quirky amidst the everyday ordinary.That is our experiment and that is our entertainment.Aranya' or forest – you never know what turn will land you where! As Manav, the writer-director of aRANYA says, What I write... The way I want to live and the way my life can never be lived – my writing comes forth from a point in between these two. And it is always for the self.
